We are currently searching for an experienced Email Marketing and Social Media Manager to work in our Online Sales Department. If you know you’ve got what it takes to position a brand through Web 2.0 solutions that drives multi-channel sales, we’re ready for you. The Position: He/she will manage our brand awareness and marketing messages through multiple interactive marketing channels. This includes but not limited to the design, development and content of Email marketing, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, PodCasting, Flickr, as well as developing new strategies for communicating with our customers. Candidate Asset Requirements: • Comfortable in general product knowledge in the following sports: Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Water Skiing, Camping, Biking, Running and/or Skate/Skateboarding along with outdoor apparel and footwear knowledge • Takes the work serious, but not yourself • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Self starter and highly motivated to excel with minimal supervision • Ability to work in fast-paced environment where flexibility is key and directions can change frequently • Extreme attention to details and outstanding organizational skills • Collaborative team player • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time Job Requirements & Responsibilities: • At least 3 years of Internet and Design experience. (Portfolio Required) • Proven experience in Email Marketing through design, content and email delivery • Demonstrated knowledge and technical proficiency in Internet best practices in terms of knowledge of email marketing, social media, paid & natural search, consumer on-line buying behaviors, web merchandising/promotions, and web analytics • Strong understanding of social media in relation to the broader media mix; understanding of the interplay between online/social media and traditional media • Strong knowledge of user-generated content, web video and viral marketing on the web • Strong analytic background to be able to develop reporting models to measure the success of programs • Assist in identifying needs and assessing online opportunities and overseeing the execution of tactics that result in a desired ROI • Provide/design insightful reporting on performance metrics related to online marketing activity to help inform and drive business decisions • Work with Director of Marketing to communicate effective marketing initiatives and report department results • Work with other departments to facilitate better integration of online marketing team and overall company performance This position has excellent growth potential reporting to the General Manager of eCommerce and Internet Marketing.
