Network Engineer

This role involves a blend of supporting internal company network (Server management, Exchange configuration, etc) and working as a Business Consultant with their clients to understand their requirements and configure their applications to meet these needs. Great opportunity for a technical services person looking to make the change over to an IT Business Analyst. They are seeking professionals who have: 2 5 years experience in a similar role working with predominately external clients Can answer and assist with technical network questions from clients and RFPs. Proven support and / or development experience with database driven applications, report development or programming tools Ability to gather client requirements and interpret this into a business solution Ability to document and understand complex business process Experience working in working in small to medium sized project teams No problem with being accountable for the quality of their deliverables To succeed in this demanding and hands-on role, you will need to: TomCat, IIS, MS Server 2003, 2005 Server management, Exchange configuration Experience with Crystal or similar reporting tools SQL-Server / Oracle experience Previous experience in a Professional Services organization Pluses MS and Citrix certifications.
