Linux System Integrator

Successful candidate must have solid skills and experience in developing and integrating Linux infrastructure systems, robust web applications, using object oriented programming languages and techniques, and possess database design and optimization skills. You will interact with clients, co-workers and managers. Strong ability to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment is a must. This is system integration /developer position, NOT a web design or web page administers position. Job Requirements: Creating custom Linux builds 4+ years of experience in PHP development, Perl, or other similar languages, in production or development environment. 5+ years shell scripting Object Oriented Programming concepts and application experience 5+ years in depth Linux system development and integration RPM building, spec file creation In depth experience with Linux drivers and modules Kickstart or unattended automated building of Linux systems Source Code management Experience with compute clusters and concepts Excellent writing and communication skills Experience with the following is also preferred: Creating custom Red Hat Linux builds Oil & Gas experience at major or super major company Understanding of SVN source control and how to use it 3+ years of experience large corporate environment
