Description
Our client is looking for a .NET/Lead Programmer/Analyst. The Lead Programmer / Analyst is expected to handle multiple tasks within the Software Development department. He or she may be asked to perform analysis, create technical designs, program, lead software development teams, coordinate with project managers, provide 3rd level support, serve on department committees, and assist with the department infrastructure. Primary Job Responsibilities Responsible for developing technical designs Responsible for delivering solid, well documented program code. Responsible for performing analysis, and debugging. Responsible for providing 3rd level support Responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of project tasks and schedules Responsible for coordinating or leading department/project teams Responsible for assisting in the development of standards and development methodologies Responsible for identifying potential problems and recommending alternative solutions Responsible for assisting in programming estimates Responsible for following the software development methodology at all times Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks Responsible for reporting the status of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks. Responsible for working in clos Qualifications: Must be technically competent with strong analysis, design and implementation skills. (the candidate will perform a multitude of tasks that rely on technical expertise, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills) In addition, the Senior Programmer/Analyst must have 7+ years of IT experience 3 + years of .Net development experience Strong C# ASP.Net or VB.Net MS SQL backend XML Experience in object oriented technologies Application development methodology experience Technical knowledge and experience with PC systems and development tools Good written and verbal communication skills Project/team coordination skills
