Kappam) Organization Name CRM On Demand Hosting Operations - Sales 2.0 Applications The Social CRM team manages & supports high performance, scalable, web and database server components, for the Social CRM products (Sales 2.0 Applications) Oracle Corporation is actively seeking an experienced Senior web tier (iAS) Support Engineer, to join our Social CRM Applications team. This team builds, configures and supports high performance, scalable, web and database server components, for the Oracle Social CRM product. This position’s role is to; deploy, operate, and maintain Social CRM hosted application environments. Provide second-level technical expertise support for customer service requests, associated to Social CRM application software and infrastructure. Responsible for creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliablility of the system. Manage the load configurations of a central data communication processor and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks. Coordinate terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing. Approves action requests and specifies purchase requirements. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers. May play a team leader role for developing System Administrators. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Preferred qualifications: eight years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field. Responsibilities • Install, configure and manage; a complex farm of servers and environments • Troubleshooting problems on various layers of the application and infrastructure • Create and maintain validated documentation set for operations of various service components • Assist in designing of new architectures and systems • Provide internal analysis and support • Manage performance of multiple hardware and software platforms at the most complex level • Manage web and application servers and proxies • Manage Database Servers • On-call and after hours support may be required • Trains, develops and mentors applications staff to betterunderstand the organizations' solution needs and assists with growingthe team's depth in this area. • Enhance and maintain existing environment(s) capacity and capabilities. Qualifications • Bachelors' degree in Information Systems Management or related field. • Demonstrated leadership in a 24/7 On Demand environment • Experience with Oracle Internet Application Server administration • Experience with Oracle Database Server administration is desired • Experience with J2EE application administration is desired • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to work well with people from various organizational disciplines, with varying degrees of technical experience. • Must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Knowledge and experience in operating system concepts and performance analysis • Knowledge of Network Protocols, Routing, Network Security, DNS/LDAP/SMTP/SSH/WWW and other common distributed systems • Programming experience with shell scripts and Perl beneficial. send your resume to chris.colosimo@oracle.com
