RogueScene, LLC, an events production and blogging corporation passionately devoted to showcasing young Asian American lifestyle and culture through event production, talent promotion, group recreational activities, and community outreach all over the country is seeking Blogger and Intern positions. http://www.roguescene.com BLOG POSITION: Requirements: *Ability to write wittingly, set own agenda, offer sharp criticism, write reviews, employ sarcasm and humor *Ability to drive viewers to the website *Must provide at least two samples of previous writing work *Strong vocabulary and grammar skills *Experienced with deadlines *Journalism experience preferable but not required *Approximately 200 words per blog *Minimum 5 blogs per month *Many topics to choose from Compensation: *Competitive Monetary Compensation *Other Bonuses Available INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Assisting with research on new products, and online marketing effectiveness *Help and support sales staff of the marketing department *Researching new sales leads for the marketing staff *Assisting with public relations activities for publication *Plan, organize, manage, and assemble an effective activity or event *Assisting with all aspects of planning, developing, sending, and tracking promotional online campaigns *Assisting with creating, organizing, and distributing print campaigns Qualifications include: *A strong interest for marketing and the publishing industry *Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, including proper grammar and punctuation *The ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude and resourcefulness *Proficient and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote *Good organizational skills *The ability to work as part of a team and also lead it *Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills *Excellent communication, social, and networking skills Those interested in the Blogger and/or Internship Program will have to send a résumé and cover letter outlining their school related experience, job experience, and skills to ttran@roguescene.com Qualified applicants will schedule a quick interview before acceptance. Bloggers are compensated as noted above. Our internship program lasts approximately 90 days. In return of this internship program, there is no monetary compensation, however with the extensive training and on site experience; qualified interns may be rewarded with an exciting career with RogueScene, LLC or with one of our many business partners. In addition, all interns can utilize this opportunity to gain experience in the marketing and business field and any subsequent references will be gladly provided for the intern.
