Mechanical Design Engineer

My client, an oil and gas company located in north Houston (Greenspoint area) is seeking 2 Mechanical Engineers with design experience. Down hole tool experience is a huge plus. SUMMARY • Mid to senior level mechanical design engineer • Executing and managing all phases of down hole drilling tools • Delivering quality service and meeting the client's expectations and standards • Must have design and analysis of oil tools / down hole tool applications • Knowledge of root cause analysis, stress analysis, and life limitations of the tool • Ability to work closing with the manufacturing and reliability teams • Heavy focus in an R&D environment QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors Degree in Engineering • 3 years industry experience in a oil drilling related discipline • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint). • Strong in application of industry codes and standards.
